We invite you to visit the exhibition "What Remains After?" showcasing works by first-year master's students from the Ceramics Department of the Art Academy of Latvia.
The exhibition centers on reflections about the enduring – what remains preserved in time and space, leaving traces in both the material and immaterial worlds. The works, crafted using paper porcelain techniques, highlight the material’s delicate lightness and durability, creating a subtle parallel with the complexity of the human body and anatomy. The Anatomy Museum becomes a symbolic space for the exhibition’s concept, where art and science converge, emphasizing the dialogue between existence and materials. The exhibition invites visitors to ponder: What traces do we leave behind, and what remains after?
Artists: Emīlija Brieze, Beatrise Grudule, Elvijs Krēvics, Elīza Jaunzeme, Kate Māliņa, Laima Lauriņa and Simona Šūmane.
