In August 2021, Riga will become the capital of the history of medicine and host the 47th Congress of the International Society for the History of Medicine. The congress is organised by the Latvian Association of Medical Historians in cooperation with Rīga Stradiņš University and Pauls Stradiņš Medicine History Museum.
